DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

Record low temperatures and snowstorms have been seen all across the country this week. Buffalo, New York was one of the hardest hit areas seeing as much as 6 feet of snow after the storms.

Although it's not likely eastern Iowa will ever see the amount of snow that Buffalo. Eastern Iowa snow removal companies tell KWWL they have a plan just in case.

"You just got to stay with it. Every so often, like with our job with the plow trucks if we have 10 inches of snow we usually go out at 5 and again when it's done. They're getting 60 plus inches so they have to go out every probably hour just redoing it and keeping it clear," said Dave Frommelt of Frommelt Landscaping and Lawn Care.

KWWL talked to other snow removal companies who say it's also important companies have a place to put the snow once they've cleared it.
