DES MOINES (AP) - Additional charges have been filed against a man accused of randomly shooting people in a Des Moines suburb.

Court records show 32-year-old Pete Jason Polson now faces several drug charges, including possession with intent to deliver.

He remains at the Polk County Jail, where his cash bond was increased to $840,000.

Polson already faces several charges in connection to a Monday morning shooting in Pleasant Hill, including two counts of attempted murder.

Police say he injured two men in separate incidents during a 12-minute shooting spree. A third man was shot at but was not hurt.

The Des Moines Register reports Polson made an initial court appearance Tuesday morning. Online records do not list an attorney.

A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 1.
