CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

North Fayette Valley ran for 405 yards and pushed themselves in to the class 2A championship with a 42-13 win over Dyersville Beckman.

The 4th ranked Tigerhawks 2-headed monster of Josh Mackey and Derrick Kuehner seemed to run at will. Mackey rolled through the Blazer defense for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kuehner added 2 more scores going for 101 yards on the ground. It was Mackey's first touchdown, a 4 yard run in the 2nd quarter that gave the Tigerhawks the lead for good at 14-7.

The North Fayette Valley defense also dominated at the line, pushing the Blazers backwards for negative 23 yards on the ground. Beckman's bright spots came in the return game where Jacob Grover took a kick-off back 97 yards for a score. Grover also scored the Blazers lone offensive touchdown with a 24 yard reception from Connor Klosterman.

North Fayette Valley moves on to face #8 Sioux Center in the 2A title game on Friday.
