Good evening, I'm Rick Coleman here with UNI Head Football coach Mark Farley after the Panthers' huge win snapping North Dakota State's 33 game winning streak and Coach a lot of good things have happened over the last month for the Panthers. As this team has found its identity, consistency, hard work and dedication to getting the job done.

Mark Farley: They were very efficient last week, very good on all three phases of the game and they won the line of scrimmage.

Rick Coleman: And it was North Dakota State (that) had been winning the line of scrimmage in most of its games, they were able to run the football stop the run on defense. I thought as the game went on Northern Iowa was a dominant football team, best team on the field.

Mark Farley: Our team stepped up to the challenge and took it on head on, we didn't do anything fancy we knew it was going to be a tough game and you have to win the line of scrimmage and the tackles you don't have to be perfect but you have to be perfect in your energy.

Rick Coleman: This week coming into a big game against Southern Illinois, team is sky high but how do you get them refocused? Everyone knows about the losing streak in Carbondale.

Mark Farley: We've got our challenge every time you win you raised the stakes in November, so the stakes go up again, and this time we go on the road to Southern and we have struggled down there. But this team is a different team, they don't know about the streak. We have been practicing outside, to get that mental toughness to win a game like this.

Rick Coleman: What impresses most about their team? I know they like to run the football. Malcom Agnew, their starting tailback, averages more than 100 yards a game. They had a freshman rush for more than 200 last week against Missouri State.

Mark Farley: Yeah, they ran all over last weekend. They seem to be getting better, they seem to be hitting their stride right now. They have multiple tailbacks and the line is playing well too.

Rick Coleman: Good luck down there in Carbondale.
