Schmadeke earns another national honor

Posted: Updated:
CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

It's another week and another honor for UNI kicker Michael Schmadeke.

Schmadeke has been named a College Sporting news national all-star after his performance in the win over #1 North Dakota State. The honor comes one day after the Panther kicker earned his 3rd Missouri Valley Player of the Week award.

Schmadeke finished with 11 of UNI's 23 points. He hit all 3 of his field goal attempts and a pair of extra points.

UNI will go after their 4th consecutive win on Saturday at Southern Illinois.
