CASCADE (KWWL) - The owners of Lehman Auto Service, located at 802 1st Ave. East in Cascade, say a vehicle caught fire late Friday night, damaging the building.

Phil Lehman says a private contractor was in working on detailing when his van caught on fire just before 11:30 p.m. Friday.

"You think it's not that bad until you turn the corner and you see the building is fully engulfed," said Lenhman.

Lehman says the contractor was working in the back of the shop.No injuries were reported; Lehman says the worker was able to get out of the building safely.

Lehman says the windows were boarded Saturday morning, and all employees are gone for the day. The owners plan to fix the building, or rebuild, as the fire caused significant damage to the building.

The cause of the fire is still unknown. The owners say the shop's insurance company is coming Monday to inspect both the vehicle and the building.

Lehman Auto Service has been a family-owned business since the late-1960s.
