CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The Iowa Department of Transportation says southbound Edgewood Road will be closed at Highway 100 from Tuesday night until Wednesday morning as a part of the Highway 100 project.

Crews will install temporary concrete rails on southbound Edgewood Road, from Highway 100 to North River Boulevard in Cedar Rapids. Southbound Edgewood Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, until 6 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, weather permitting.

Drivers should use either Ushers Ferry Road or the road running parallel to the interstate between Blairs Ferry Road and 42nd Street as the alternate routes to get to 42nd Street and then south on Edgewood Road.
