A woman is now being treated at the Iowa City Hospitals after a fire started in her Waterloo home around 3 a.m. Friday.

Fire officials say dispatch received information from a neighbor that they heard the woman screaming inside of her home on Archer Avenue.

They say the other two people in the home -- two teenagers -- went out of their second-story window and crawled down their front porch overhang.

Chief Battalion Michael Moore says the blaze started in the rear of the house near the kitchen.

He says the temperature inside was so hot his crews had to cool the home from the outside before entering.

They then forced entry into one of the home's doors and found a woman unconscious.

Officials are still investigating the fire, but say the cause is not suspicious.

Officials say the boys are now in Iowa City with the woman.
