PREVIOUS STORY:

A quiet day today with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the 40's to lower 50's. An area of low pressure will track in from the west on Monday and will bring scattered showers to the area with highs in the 40's for our northern counties to upper 50's for our southern counties. Showers will mix with and change to snow Monday night into Tuesday. It looks like 1-2" of snow is possible mainly north of Highway 20 by Tuesday. Storm Track 7 Meteorologists will be monitoring  this storm closely in case there is a shift in the track. If you have travel plans into Minnesota, substantial amounts of 8+" are possible.   Arctic air follows this storm with temps in the 20's to lower 30's through all of next week and likely beyond into the following week.
