Two former Hawkeyes returning to play for Titans

Two former Hawkeye football players will be returning to Eastern Iowa. This time as members of the Cedar Rapids Titans.

Chris Kokalis, General Manager and Co-owner of the Cedar Rapids Titans, announced on Tuesday they signed Jordan Cotton and B.J. Lowery.

Cotton, 6'1, 192 lbs., was a wide receiver/kick returner for the Hawkeyes and played in all 13 games in 2013. His 25.2 yard kick return average led the Hawkeyes. He set Outback Bowl records for longest kickoff return and best kickoff return average.

Lowery, 5'11, 193 lbs., racked up 128 tackles, three interceptions, two interception returns for touchdowns and three forced fumbles in his career as a defensive back. He ranked 2nd in the Big Ten and 5th nationally for pass breakups in 2013, averaging 1.46 pass break ups per game.
