University of Northern Iowa will hold a "Day of Solidarity" Thursday in light of recent harmful Yik Yak posts.

Students and faculty will gather in front of Maucker Union at noon wearing special shirts stating "We Can Do Better."

Students will speak out about the harmful posts and reflect on how the university can "do better" as a unified student body.

The president of the university as well as the student body government are expected to attend.
