Strong 2nd half rolls Iowa past Northwood 92-51

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

 Iowa overcame a sluggish first half to roll over Northwood University 92-51 to open the exhibition season.

After leading by just 7 at half, the Hawkeyes turned on the defensive pressure and outscored the Seahawks 53-19 over the final 20 minutes.

Peter Jok led the way with 16 points on 6 of 9 shooting and grabbed a team high 8 rebound. Jared Uthoff chipped in 15 in the victory.

The Hawkeyes, who currently sit 25th in the coaches poll, open the regular season a week from Friday against Hampton.
