CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds stopped in Cedar Falls Saturday as part of their 'Building Iowa's Future Tour.'

Joni Ernst, Rod Blum and other area republicans were also there to speak of issues in their own race, but all eyes were on Ernst.

Ernst said her focus this final weekend before elections is to cast a wide net.

"We are reaching out to every Iowan that we possibly can, so it's not just republicans, it's independents and democrats too that see the need to change direction," Ernst said.
Ernst also said her first move as Senator would be to balance the federal budget and repeal and replace ObamaCare.

Ernst's 'One More Thing' tour will begin Monday and last 24-hours to get voters energized right before election day.

She will make 12 stops, including Cedar Falls and Iowa City before she casts her vote at her final stop in Red Oak Tuesday morning.
