CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Cedar Rapids police arrested two people after a police chase and hit-and-run.

Police tried to stop a driver in the 2100 block of 6th St SW for an expired registration. The minivan driver did not stop, and police went after the vehicle.

Eventually, the driver turned onto Gateway Place SW and hit an occupied vehicle -- though no one was hurt.

The minivan driver continued on, going through several parking lots before finally stopping for officers at 33rd Avenue and Southgate Place SW.

Officers arrested the driver and a passenger.

The driver has been identified as Misty Brisbin, 29, of Cedar Rapids. She's been charged with hit-and-run, attempting to elude, driving while license suspended, and several other driving offenses.

The passenger arrested was Henry Rogers, 32, of Cedar Rapids. He's been charged with interference with official acts and carrying a concealed weapon.
