DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

Dash cam footage shows a man leading law enforcement agencies through rural Delaware Country and even a corn field.

Dyersville Police said they tried to pull over Jared Billings' SUV on Highway 20 on Monday, but Billings took off, leading them on a chase at speeds over 80 miles per hour.

A Dyersville officer attempted to stop Billings' white Ford Explorer for a registration violation initially, but as the officer approached, the vehicle sped off.

The Dyersville officer attempted to stop the vehicle again, but Billings continued traveling on several country roads after turning south from Highway 20, reaching speeds up to 80 mph.

Dyersville Police Department, the Delaware Country Sheriff's Office and Iowa State Patrol followed the vehicle in pursuit.

At one point, Billings drove through a corn field, causing substantial damage to the crop.

The multiple agencies were able to finally stop the vehicle at a residence just south of Delhi, where Jared Billings was taken into custody.

Billings faces a total of nine charges from the Dyersville Police Department, Iowa State Patrol, and Delaware Country Sheriff's Department.

Those charges include driving while revoked, no insurance, registration violation, interference with official acts, operating while intoxicated, felony eluding, stop sign violation and open container.
