Volga man accused of sexual assault

A Volga man was arrested Wednesday after an investigation into a reported sexual assault.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office says 58-year-old James Masen Miller is charged with third-degree sexual abuse, assault with intent to commit sexual abuse and third-degree harassment.

The charges come after an investigation into several reports of a woman being assaulted in the Elgin and Volga areas.

The Clayton County Sheriff's Office will investigate the reports in the Volga area.

Miller was arrested at his home and taken to the Fayette County Jail.

If convicted, Miller could spend up to 23 years in prison and register as a sex offender.
