BUFFALO (KWWL) -

Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson may be out up to a month after suffering a groin injury in Sunday's win over Minnesota.

Fortunately, the injury will not require surgery.

The former Coe College stand-out, who went down late in the first quarter, believes he could return as soon as week 9 against Kansas City.

The Bills also lost running back C.J. Spiller to a shoulder injury. He's been ruled out for the rest of the season.
