Unbeaten Janesville was on the road and in the driver's seat, gunning for the District 3 crown after whipping Northwood-Kensett 45-20 last week.
That's the same Northwood-Kensett team that handed Clarksville its only loss of the season by a very lopsided 61-8 in Week 3.
It may have been cold out, but kids were crazy in Clarksville.
Janesville brought the thunder early, hitting Jack Thode deep in Indian territory, bringing the Wildcats up 16-0 in the first few minutes.
Clarksville answered in turn though, with a handoff to Zach Sommerfelt that took them all the way to the end zone, making it 16-6.
Even with the lead, the Wildcats kept the pressure on, scoring touchdown after touchdown, with Austin Goreham carrying much of the load.
But Clarksville kept pace. Sommerfelt came right up the middle, and almost went down, but kept chugging, bringing the the Indians along 24-12.
The Wildcats ended the first half with a commanding 30-12 lead, and kept that going to win 50-12.
