Dike-New Hartford spoils Sumner-Fredericksburg's Senior Night

The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines improved  to 6-2 by topping the Cougars of Sumner-Fredericksburg, 28-14.

The Wolverines used two touchdowns in the second quarter to build a 21-6 lead.

The first was a 1-yard touchdown run from Conner Ragsdale, and then Wolverines running back Trent Johnson took a 3rd-and-7 sweep 85 yards for a touchdown.

Sumner-Fredericksburg closed the gap with a Derek Kohlmeyer 1-yard TD run that made it 21-14.

But Dike-New Hartford tacked on one more score in the second half that made the final score 28-14.

Dike-New Hartford hosts Jesup in their season finale, while Sumner-Fredericksburg travels to Clayton Ridge next week.
