WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Three people are facing charges after holding up a Waterloo shop owner at gunpoint last night.

Jessie Mathews, Jutaveus Collett, and Jimmy Robinson are being charged with second-degree robbery.

Byron's owner Shaista Yasmeen says it happened after she closed up shop last night around 10 p.m.

She was walking to her Jeep when a masked man took her by surprise.

"He just pointed a gun on me and said, 'Sit on the ground and let me have the money,' and he took all my money and keys and phone," she says.

Yasmeen says at first, she thought there was only one person involved. It wasn't until she watched the surveillance video she noticed there was a person behind her the entire time.

Luckily, a phone call with a family member put police on the case.

Yasmeen says she was on the phone with her sister when she was robbed. Her sister heard the commotion, hung up and called her house. She spoke with her 13-year-old daughter, who then called the police.

Yasmeen says when the man pointed a gun at her, she put her hand over the barrel and pushed it away.

"When he was trying to point it at me, I tried to push his gun, and I don't know why I was so brave that time. I didn't even think for one time he was going to kill me, just, 'Here's the money.'"

This isn't the first time she's been robbed at gunpoint. Both Byron's and her family's other store -- Save More -- have been hit in the fast.

Still, she seems to be in good spirits.

"Maybe I'm used to it, because it's happened three times."

Police are still investigating the case and will not release mug shots at this time.
