CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

A Chicago man is facing burglary, theft, and criminal mischief charges following a home burglary in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday.

Investigators used forensic evidence found at the home on Cedar Rapids' northwest side to identify Erik Williams, 25, of Chicago as a suspect.

On Thursday, officers located Williams in a car with two other people. There was also a handgun in the car.

Police charged Dante Glinn, 21, of  Cedar Rapids with possession of crack cocaine, driving while barred, and other traffic violations.

The third person in the car, Leslie Stokes, 22, was wanted on an active warrant out of Johnson County. She was charged with providing false information.

In the car, officers found women's jewelry that may be stolen. If you've had jewelry stolen in the past week, file a report at the Cedar Rapids Police Station.
