Tripoli man injured in Black Hawk County crash

BLACK HAWK COUNTY (KWWL) -

A Tripoli man was injured Thursday after he rear-ended a pick-up.

The Iowa State Patrol says 47-year-old Scott Murray was headed north on Highway 63 in Black Hawk County on his motorcycle at around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday when he rear ended a pick-up that was turning into a private driveway just north of Cedar-Wapsie Road.

Murray was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

The driver of the truck, Mark Dayton of Cedar Falls, was not injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
