CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Like they've done so many times in the past, the UNI volleyball took care of business, sweeping Southern Illinois 3-0 on Saturday night in the McLeod Center. The win was a big one as it marked the 1,000th victory in program history. UNI won by set scores of 25-16, 25-18, and 25-17.

Autumn Alitz and Lindsey Schulz led the way for UNI, each picking up 12 kills in the Panther victory.

UNI remained perfect in Missouri Valley Conference play at 7-0. They remain tied with Illinois State on top of the conference. The Panthers and Redbirds meet up on Friday.
