ARLINGTON (KWWL) -

Fayette County deputies said they found five malnourished horses at the home of Duane and Margaret Landis in Arlington Thursday.

Four of those horses are now in the care of volunteers, another is back in the custody of its owner.

Although there are no more horses there, KWWL saw multiple dogs on the property Saturday.

Margaret Landis declined to be interviewed, but shouted to a KWWL crew member that they were indeed taking care of their animals.

Deputies said they also found animal carcasses on the property.

The sheriff's office said the couple will face charges of animal neglect and failing to dispose of bodies.
