MANCHESTER (KWWL) - In 3A, third-ranked West Delaware steps out of district play to host Central Clinton in DeWitt.

On the opening kickoff, Deandre Daniels for West Delaware takes it at his own 8, gets caught in a little traffic, but then finds a seam and he's gone -- 92 yards, and no one is going to catch him as he puts the Hawks up 7-0 after the extra point.

Still in the first quarter, West Delaware had the ball on a 1st-and-10 on their own 41. Austin Bishop breaks one tackle, gets to the sideline and sprints 59 yards and puts the Hawks up 13-0 after the missed extra point.

In the 2nd quarter, West Delaware had the ball again, on a 1st-and-goal on the 10. Quarterback Brent Lammers fakes the handoff and goes straight up the gut untouched for the easy West Delaware touchdown to make it 20-0.

Still in the 2nd, West Delaware was in the red zone again on a 1st-and-goal from the 6. Lammers again keeps it himself for the sweep and fights his way into the end zone to put the Hawks up 27-0.

West Delaware rolls to a 60-27 win.
