WEST UNION (KWWL) -

In Class 2A, eighth-ranked North Fayette Valley hosted Osage.

The Tigerhawks would come out firing. A 19-yard completion from Trevor Hurd to Ben Martin would set up a 1-yard TD run by Josh Mackey.

North Fayette Valley up 7-0.

On their next possession, Hurd would race up the middle untouched for a 14-yard score. Derrick Kuehner would get the call next and he would answer with a 13-yard touchdown.

Josh Mackey would show he can play both ways. First, he gets a sack for a 5-yard loss to force a punt. Then on the ensuing possession, he would score on a 1-yard TD run for a 28-0 lead.

Osage would threaten late in the first half as they would get 1st-and-goal at the North Fayette Valley 2-yard line.

But several Tigerhawk defenders would meet the QB for a sack and a loss of 5.

The Green Devils would be unable to score.

North Fayette Valley wins big over Osage 48-0.
