CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

A man accused of shooting a young Cedar Rapids woman while trying to kill her boyfriend is out of jail -- again.

Brandon Gordon is charged with attempted murder for allegedly trying to kill Rodney Burt.

Burt was at a Cedar Rapids gas station last month with his girlfriend, Kirsten Meyer, when police say Brandon Gordon pulled out a gun and shot Meyer. She was seriously injured, but,  Cedar Rapids Police believe Burt was the intended target.

Hours after the incident, Gordon was mistakenly let out of jail on  bond without ever seeing a judge due to a computer glitch. The Linn County Sheriff' says that glitch has been fixed.

Online court records show Gordon has posted bond again at the higher level of $500,000. He  must follow a judge's conditions which include three no-contact orders: Burt, Meyer and another person whose named has not been released because that person is a minor.
