DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

Wahlert Catholic High School in Dubuque is currently seeking service projects for its upcoming annual Stewardship Day.

Between 9 a.m. and noon on Tuesday, Oct. 28, Wahlert students and members of faculty and staff will offer assistance to senior citizens, people with disabilities and non-profit organizations.

Teams will be available for yard work, cleaning, washing windows or any other jobs that morning, but they need advanced notice.

Anyone interested in getting some help that day should contact the high school before Monday, Oct. 20, to request assistance.

People can call 563.583.9771 or apply online HERE: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1heEZYA_a-6nMgnoxvV5H_dTQiIbaDdJhzhZvjhK4qXQ/viewform?usp=send_form

People requesting service will need to provide their name, address, phone number, what type of help is needed and how many students would be needed to complete the work. The work must not exceed 2.5 hours.

Wahlert asks people and organizations receiving help to be on site during the service time to greet the visitors. They also have to furnish supplies and comply with city clean-up regulations.

In case of bad weather, Wahlert's annual Stewardship Day will be moved to the following day, weather permitting.
