CRAWFORD COUNTY, Wis. (KWWL) - A Wisconsin man was killed Monday night in a one-vehicle crash.

Deputies were called to the intersection of Highway 27 and Bob White Glen Road in Utica Township at around 11:30 p.m. Monday for a reported crash, according to Sheriff Dale McCullick with the Crawford County Sheriff's Department.

When they arrived, deputies found a 33-year-old Mt. Sterling, Wisconsin, man unresponsive and pinned in the vehicle.

The unnamed man was removed, and medics performed CPR for over an hour. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Deputies say their investigation revealed that the man was headed north on Highway 27, went off the east shoulder for about 100 feet and veered back across both lanes before his SUV flipped over and landed on its top.

They say the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.

The name of the driver is being withheld until family is notified.
