Man and woman plead guilty to Cedar Rapids bank robberies

A man who robbed four banks and a woman who drove the getaway car pled guilty in federal court.

At a plea hearing Thursday, 29-year-old Javon Dockery, admitted he robbed a Cedar Rapids branch of the US Bank on April 30 and June 26. He also admitted he robbed a Cedar Rapids branch of the Guaranty Bank on May 16 and May 29.

At a plea hearing Monday, 21-year-old Bria Daudinot admitted she aided and abetted Dockery in the June 26 robbery. Daudinot admitted she drove the getaway vehicle.

Dockery faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 7 years in prison and a possible maximum sentence of life in prison, a $1,250,000 fine, a $500 special assessment, and up to 5 years on supervised release following any imprisonment.

Daudinot faces a possible maximum sentence of 20 years' imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a $100 special assessment, and up to 3 years on supervised release following any imprisonment.
