DUBUQUE (KWWL) -
An expedition team from OAR Northwest Organization is scheduled to stop at the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium Saturday Oct. 4 through Oct. 7.
The crew is paddling down the length of the river, educating students. The 90-day voyage began Sept. 2.
A special presentation is free and open to the public Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. in the Museum and Aquarium's 4D Theater.
OAR Northwest was founded in 2005. Its past excursions include treks across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. It's the first year for Adventure: Mississippi, which is planned to be an annual event going forward.
Leslie Hospitality owner Edwin Leslie says he doesn't have anything to hide, and to prove it he invited the public to view all of the documents, emails, agreements, and financial statements related to the deal at a public meeting this morning.
