STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -

Oklahoma State used a second half surge following a controversial touchdown to roll past Iowa State 37-20 on Saturday.

The Cyclones appeared to pick up some momentum just before half as Jevohn Miller stopped Desmond Roland in a goal line situation. The play, however, would be overturned on review despite video evidence which appeared unclear. The score gave the Cowboys a 13-6 halftime lead.

That momentum carried in to the second half as Tyreek Hill returned the opening kickoff 97 yards to put Oklahoma State up 20-6.

Iowa State finally found the end zone on their next possession driving 71 yards. E.J. Bibbs capped it with an incredible one handed grab at the goal line on a 17 yard strike from Sam Richardson. Iowa State pulled within 7, but got no closer. Bibbs would catch 2 scoring strikes on the day.

Oklahoma State responded rattling off 17 straight points. Jhajaun Seales grabbed a 40 yard scoring strike from Daxx Garman midway through the 3rd. The Cowboys tacked on a field goal to end the quarter with a 30-13 advantage. Roland would cap their scoring with a 6 yard touchdown run in the 4th.

Richardson led Iowa State on the day completing 17 of 39 passes for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns. Both strikes went to Bibbs who ended the day with 69 receiving yards.
