Posted: Updated:
TRIPOLI (KWWL) - Unbeaten and 4th-ranked Janesville paid a visit to Tripoli in 8-player ball.

Janesville would score early and often. Nick Nelson broke several tackles on his way to a 21-yard score. Then Jack Thode had an interception return for a TD.

But Tripoli would fight back. Dylan Meister broke a 50-yard run for a TD to cut the lead to 14-8.

The Wildcats weren't done yet. Noah Dodd found a wide-open Nick Nelson from 30 yards out. Then they would do it again, this time Nelson with a nice spin move for a 34-yard score.

Janesville led 30-8 at the end of the first quarter.

In the 2nd quarter, Dodd on the keeper from 12 yards out would open the scoring.

Tripoli kept trying to keep it close. Carew Vogt fired over the middle to Nick Shinstine to cut the lead to 38-14.

Then Janesville would run away with the game. Noah Dodd was on the keeper from the 1.

And on the Wildcats final possession of the half, Dodd finds Nelson again for the longest score of the night -- a 61-yard TD for a 54-14 lead going into the locker room.

Janesville would stay unbeaten with an easy 69-22 win.
