Girl Scouts host Fall Festival set in Dorchester

Posted: Updated:
On Sat. Oct. 25, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois will host a fall festival.

The festival will run from 1-5 p.m. in Dorchester, Iowa.

They will offer hayrack rides and hikes along Bear Creek.

Families will also have the opportunity to get professional photographs taken just in time for the holidays.

Kids can go hiking, design crafts, and participate in activities they've never tried before like archery and a low-ropes course.

The inaugural Family Fall Festival will be held 20-miles northeast of Decorah at Camp Tahigwa, a 315-acre property owned by the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois.

The property is located at 318 Tahigwa Drive in Dorchester, Iowa.

Cost to attend the Family Fall Festival is $5/Girl Scout and $5 for each additional family member.

The event is open to the public for $20/person.
