U.S. Marshals arrest Illinois fugitive in Cedar Rapids

The U.S. Marshals tracked down a wanted man from Illinois in Cedar Rapids.

33-year-old Larry Tribble of Bloomington, Illinois was wanted on aggravated domestic battery charges.

Authorities say Tribble was wanted in connection with an August incident in Bloomington in which the female victim was hospitalized and underwent reconstructive surgery.

The U.S. Marshals Service Central Illinois Fugitive Task Force obtained information Tribble went to Cedar Rapids.

Thursday afternoon, the Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force received information Tribble was in the vicinity of 8th Ave and 10th St. SE in Cedar Rapids.

They say Tribble was hiding in a vehicle.

He was arrested and taken to the Linn County Jail, pending extradition to Illinois.
