UPDATE: Dubuque gas station robbed Wednesday night

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

Dubuque police have released information about a suspect possibly involved in a convenience store robbery Wednesday night.

Police responded to a call at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday for an armed robbery at Beecher's Convenience Store, 1691 Asbury Road, in Dubuque.

According to Dubuque Police, a person entered the store, showed a weapon and took cash from the register. No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described by police as a white male, about 5'9" to 6' tall and weighing 250 pounds. The suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, which covered his face.

Police were unable to confirm what vehicle the suspect was using.

Dubuque police confirm a robbery happened around 9:25 p.m. Wednesday at Beecher Gas Station in the 1600 block of Asbury Road.

Nobody was injured, and as of early Thursday morning, no one has been arrested.

Police had no information early Thursday on what was stolen.

The investigation is ongoing.
