BLACK HAWK COUNTY (KWWL) -

A crash at a gravel intersection injured two people Monday morning.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office says it happened at the intersection of Quarry Road and Foulk Road just after 8:00 a.m.

48-year-old Raymond Vaughn of Dysart was driving east on Quarry Road in a 2001 Ford F-250 pickup.  31-year-old Jason Rose of Garrison was traveling north on Foulk Road in a 2008 Ford F150. Both vehicles collided in the intersection and came to rest in the ditch.

Authorities say visibility in the area was poor due to a construction truck that had just driven through. Both drivers indicated that they did not see the other due to a dust cloud.

Both drivers were taken to Covenant Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities say charges are pending.
