Dubuque Hempstead crushes Davenport West for 3rd win in a row

Posted: Updated:
Tonight Dubuque Hempstead got its third straight win -- 63-0 over winless Davenport West.

It would be all Dubuque Hempstead in the first half as Bailey Paulsen connects with Matt Zener, who breaks a few tackles and runs 65 yards for the first of many touchdowns tonight.

Mustangs go up 7-0 after 18 seconds.

Hempstead continues the domination as they keep it on the ground, as Peyton Imhof takes the hand off and battles 25 yards to find pay dirt.

Score goes up 21-0 in favor of the Mustangs.

With under a minute-thirty left in the half, Mitchell Hemmel receives the punt for Hempstead and scrambles around a few players, across the field, and over a defender before getting pushed out of bounds just inside the 20-yard line.

Next play, Paulsen connects to Imhof for the touchdown as the Mustangs go up 42-0 at the half.

Hempstead would go on to win the homecoming match 63-0.
