Oelwein whips Waterloo Columbus, 42-21

OELWEIN (KWWL) - Tonight, somebody was going to get their first win of the season as Oelwein hosted Waterloo Columbus.

Oelwein was celebrating homecoming this weekend and bringing the energy, but it was Waterloo Columbus to get on the board first.

Quarterback Christian Hellman hooks up with Nate Guyger out on the flat, and he goes untouched for the six points.

This touchdown would not bring down Huskie fans' energy, but Christian Hellman connecting with Dylan Gantus in the back of the end zone would quiet down the Huskie fans.

The Huskies would not let down their fans and Oelwein's Tanner Rising finds Damon Degraw, and Degraw will take this down to the Huskies' 2-yard line, and the Huskies power it in for the score to take the lead.

The Oelwein Huskies will get their first win of the season with a final score of Oelwein 42, Columbus 21.
