UNI hosts 33rd annual benefit concert

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) - The University of Northern Iowa School of Music will host it's 33rd Annual Scholarship Benefit Concert Friday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m.

The theme this year is "County Fair!" and will be held in the Great Hall of the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center on the UNI campus.

Featured artists include Nicolle Foland as well as music by faculty artists, including Ann Bradfield, Tina Su, Heather Peyton and others. The Northern Iowa Wind Symphony, Jazz Band One and the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra will also be featured.

The Scholarship Benefit Concerts have been raising scholarship funds for exceptionally talented music students, and students in need, for more than 30 years. Individual tickets may be purchased in person at the Gallagher Bluedorn box office, by calling 319-273-4TIX or at www.unitix.uni.edu.
