BLACK HAWK COUNTY (KWWL) -

Two people were taken to area hospitals after a driver lost control of an SUV on Highway 20.

The Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened near mile marker 181 around 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Hardin County.

Marques Johnson, 29, of Fort Dodge was driving westbound when he lost control of his Ford Explorer, according to the Iowa State Patrol.

Troopers say Johnson over-corrected, entered the median and rolled the SUV.

Johnson was airlifted to Covenant Medical Center, and his passenger, 21-year-old Jordan Blocker of Calumet City, Illinois, was transported by ambulance to Iowa Falls Hospital.

No word on their conditions at this time.
