CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The Marion man accused of shooting a young woman from Cedar Rapids made a court appearance Wednesday morning.

Brandon Gordon is being held on a $500,000 cash bond. If released from jail, there are three no contact orders: Kirsten Meyer, Rodney Burt, and an unnamed minor.

Gordon is accused of shooting 18-year-old Kirsten Meyer Friday afternoon at a Cedar Rapids gas station. Police say 19-year-old Rodney Burt, of Marion, was the intended target.

Gordon is charged with Attempted Murder for trying to kill Burt, Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury for hurting Meyer, and other charges.

Details on who the minor is and why Gordon is not allowed to contact him or her were not immediately available.
