New Marion residents invited to 'Get Plugged In' to community

MARION (KWWL) - New Marion residents are invited to attend the first in a series of quarterly meetings designed to get new residents plugged in to the community.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Louie's Scoreboard, 740 10th Street, in uptown Marion.

City Council members, city staff and community organizations such as the Marion Chamber of Commerce, Marion Economic Development Company (MEDCO) and the Blue Zones Project Marion will be on hand to help residents to get acquainted and learn about current projects, upcoming events and community initiatives.

Meetings are free and refreshments will be provided. Forty seats are available and reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
