CAMP EDWARDS, Mass. (AP) -- Military officials and local police are looking for three Afghan soldiers who went missing while taking part in a training exercise at a military base in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Officials say the three arrived at Camp Edwards Sept. 11, and were last seen at the Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis.

They were reported missing Saturday night. Officials say the three Afghan soldiers are not a threat to the public.

The Regional Cooperation training exercises have been held each year since 2004 and involve six different nations including the U.S.
