The Pirates Shane Karkosh provided one of the most spectacular runs of the night, as he ran 56 yards for a Hudson touchdown late in the second quarter to give the Pirates a 21-14 lead.
With only seconds left in the first half, Hudson would get the first of two field goals from Dylan Hassman to take 24-14 lead at halftime.
Jesup stormed back to take the second half lead. The J-Hawks led 34-31 late in the game, before the Hudson field goal tied it at 34, and the game went into overtime.
Hudson won it in the OT, when Shane Karkosh scored from the 10, capping a brilliant night for Karkosh and the Pirates in the 40-34 overtime victory.
Hudson improves its record to 3-1.
