UNI Football gets adjusted to Hawaii

Wednesday morning--the Northern Iowa Panthers left the mainland for their long trek in search of a victory.

The Panthers will play the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors this Saturday in Honolulu.

The Panthers will be playing only their second game of the season--while Hawaii has already played two.

Northern Iowa players are also taking precautions against the effects of jet lag which is common for trips of this length

Sawyer Kollmorgen said, "Yeah personally I have --my parents are actually already out there--they decided to go out there early--not fair but what ever they want to do. My mom called me and told me to get a bunch of sleep because the jet lag is pretty bad--but she's a smart woman so I guess I will listen to her."

UNI and Hawaii play at 11 Saturday night Iowa time.
