Western Dubuque's Fine Arts Booster Club holding Wingfest

Western Dubuque High School's Fine Arts Booster Club is holding its first ever Wingfest in order to raise funds.

The event, set for Sat., Sept. 20 in Farley's city park, will include a wing-cooking competition, wing-eating challenge, classic car show, big-screen showing of the Hawkeyes vs. Pittsburgh Panthers game, beer garden and kids games.

All proceeds will benefit the Western Dubuque Fine Arts Booster Club, which supports students in the band, choir, dance, drama and speech programs at WDHS.

Admission is free. Wings are served starting at 11 a.m. The wing judging begins at 2 p.m.
