One killed in Washington cabin fire

WASHINGTON (KWWL) -

One person was killed in a Washington County cabin fire, according to authorities.

Firefighters from Washington and Ainsworth responded around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday to a fire. It happened at a building in the 2000 block of 275 St. in Washington.

After the fire was extinguished, one person was found dead inside. Authorities have not identified the person, but he is presumed to be male.

The State Fire Marshall's Office is investigating the fire.
