CF Coaching Legend Mitchell to be honored this weekend

Hall-of-Fame football coach Pat Mitchell will be honored at halftime of the Cedar Falls game this Friday night against Ames at the UNI-Dome.

Mitchell retired after 47 as the Tigers' head coach earlier this year --so this will be the first Cedar Falls varsity football game in the Dome without him coaching on the sidelines. There will also be a retirement party for coach Mitchell on Saturday at the Amvets post 49 in Cedar Falls at seven o'clock. Pat Mitchell's 344 career wins ranks fourth in the state...
