Name released in fatal crash near Baldwin

The Iowa State Patrol released the name of the person killed in a one-vehicle crash near Baldwin on Aug. 22.

According to the crash report, 63-year-old Donald Morris of Davenport was killed when the pick-up he was in lost control.

Investigators say the pick-up was going southbound on 67th Avenue northeast of Baldwin when the driver lost control.

It's still not clear who was driving the pick-up at the time. The crash report says the driver's identity is still under investigation.

Dustin Demoss, age 31 of Monmouth, was also injured in the crash. He was flown to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for treatment. No word on his condition at this time.
